Pharmacies are slowly beginning to see the benefits of using medical EMR software. They can avoid reading a prescription wrong, and prevent people from taking advantage of the system by using false prescriptions. They can instead request the exact prescription and information for the patients to be sent to them from the hospital or doctor who prescribed the medication.
