The automobile industry is a highly competitive industry and a competitor can survive only if the product they deliver has a longer life and better mileage. So, the technology is trying to find a way to make use of fuel more efficiently. Most of the automobile gas saving devices are aimed to produce improve fuel combustion and thus the fuel economy. There are more than hundreds of gas savers available in the automobile markets. However only a very few are proved to be effective. Several media have even proved that many gas savers are just a myth and some even decreases the fuel economy of a vehicle. So, careful attention in selecting the devices is necessary.
