How Do I Start A Kentucky Fried Chicken Franchise?

April 29th, 2008

Starting a Kentucky fried chicken franchise is not something you go into halfheartedly. It is a long process from first contact until you open your restaurant door. The qualification process takes between two and four weeks, and that is just to decide whether you are worth talking to. You need to have a seven figure personal networth, along with liquid assets of at least a third of that. You also need to demonstrate a business history and an ability to excel in both the hands on operations and the team building component of the operations. If you make the initial cut you can expect the remainder of the franchise agreement process to take around nine months - and then you have to start building a restaurant.
