What Is Rust Or Corrosion Car Warranty Coverage?
This type of warranty on a car pretty much explains itself except for the part about how much rust or corrosion needs to be on the car in order for the rust or corrosion car warranty to cover it. The warranty is only for rust or corrosion that happens that creates a hole in the exterior of the vehicle. It will not cover any kind of surface rust or corrosion because this type of rust could be a user- maintenance issue and it will not be covered. But if for some reason there is a hole that forms from corrosion, then the manufacturer would have to fix the problem.
