Understanding the average gas mileage

Selling cars is obviously big business. How else do you explain the plethora of advertisements which bombard you every time you switch on the TV or are looking through magazines? Of course, all this publicity is necessary to educate the customer about the various properties of the vehicles advertised but, I do wish these companies would be a bit more circumspect when they brag about their mileage ratings. After careful studies I have come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as the perfect mileage rating. If one vehicle is advertised as giving 28miles per gallon and the other as 29 miles per gallon, chances are that it is somewhere around 28-29 miles per gallon. This is the Average Gas Mileage. So, next time you buy a car based solely on its mileage ratings, remember that the mileage given is only the average mileage.

Chevrolet Tahoe

The full-size Chevrolet Tahoe introduced in 1995 is a true American SUV. The Tahoe Hybrid offering a notable 50 percent progress in city gas mileage ratings over the standard models might just mark the first light of a new era.

It isn’t just about bolting in an electric motor and a bank of batteries. Chevy pausing the Tahoe hybrid’s suspension has made aerodynamic pinches to the hood and front end, and set some components on a diet to relieve the load on the two-mode hybrid system.

The expected Chevy gas mileage for the Tahoe Hybrid is 22 highway / 21 city in 2WD trim, and 20 highway / 20 city for the 4WD model.

Cost of Pet Insurance

Generally speaking we don't hesitate to purchase health insurance for ourselves so omitting our pets when just about everything else in our lives is insured just doesn't make sense. When taken in context the cost of pet insurance isn’t that great. Should something untoward happen to their pet, pet owners soon realize that vet bills can become quite costly and it doesn’t take much treatment for the bills to enter into four figures. Many people forget just how much the cost of taking an animal to the vet for treatment has risen in recent times. A nominal sum paid each month in the form of a premium wards off the possibility of having to pay a hefty vet bill down the track.

Three ways to Cover a Trailer RV

Manufacturers of aftermarket trailer rv covers use there terms to describe the products they supply. Retailers need to understand the differences implied by these terms:

* Universal fit covers are designed to fit almost any trailer RV up to a specified length. Excellent for keeping dirt out of trailer RVs stored indoors. Not usually suitable for trailer RVing because they whip in the wind. Least expensive type.

* Semi-custom fit covers are intended to fit trailer RVs of specified hull lengths and types, e.g., bowrider, bass trailer RV, etc. Can fit well enough to withstand the wind of trailer RVing. The mid-range price product.* Custom fit covers are sewn using patterns taken from specific models of trailer RVs. Available for nearly all trailer RVable models from major trailer RV-builders. Most expensive of the packaged cover products. In the packaged trailer RV cover industry, the term "one-of-a-kind" is usually applied to covers made from scratch by canvas shops.

Avoid These Car Warranty Problems

A car warranty is supposed to give car owners peace of mind knowing that their cars are covered in case of breakdowns. However, most car owners face some problems when its time to have their car serviced. The most common problem is that the parts are not covered, so they end up paying. Another typical problem is that the car warranty is not accepted because of some failure on the part of the owner to comply with the terms. To avoid these, always check the terms and conditions stated in your car warranty. Follow what is stated there, like having your car serviced regularly. If you fail to comply, there would be very costly consequences on your part

Adco Covers Scheme

The most important feature that a good adco covers scheme should provide is gas and explosion cover. A normal motor policy would probably exclude this, even though it would cover most other fire risks. All motorcaravans have cooking facilities and a minor accident can cause a gas leak, or a tank or cylinder could even rupture with the gas turned off. Without this cover all the other frills become insignificant. If drivers lose their vehicles without being adequately insured, they might never be able to afford to get on the road again. All the insurers listed below offer gas and explosions cover but differ in other ways.

Lemon Laws

Enough is enough. Time to take advantage of the local lemon laws. I’m not going to get stuck with a worthless piece of trash for the amount of money I paid. I’m sick and tired of being jerked around.
I’ve researched the particular Arizona Lemon Laws that are applicable in this case, and I’m confident that I can win. I’m not about to take this lying down.
In years past you could seal a deal with a handshake and be confident the dealer would do right by you. Now they’re all sleazeballs. A lawsuit serves them right.

Service Your Car At Regular Intervals

A car will run the way you want it too. It is a machine and will deliver results according to the way you look after it. Car fuel efficiency can be increased many fold by just giving a little attention to certain vital needs of your car. Always check that your tires are inflated properly as deflated or less inflated tires bring down the car fuel efficiency. To keep your gas mileage high always get your cars serviced at regular intervals and see to it that it is well maintained. On high speed roads keep your windows close to improve the fuel efficiency. Always accelerate slowly as that is another main way to maintain your cars fuel efficiency.
