The company struck deals with some of the bigwigs and secured a really safe position for itself in the market. The company has a deal with Marriott Host International which ensures it presence at airports and with Aramark which ensures its presence at various universities.

I have been working on a new position for a company selling vacuums over the phone. I never anticipated that I would be involved in cold call sales. It has taken me time, resilience and patience to deal with the telephone selling process. In the beginning I faced one rejection after another. Over time I become resilient and learnt finer tactics to communicate with people and convert them to customers. I had some initial training which I was able to build upon to craft my approach.

I had just graduated from college, and I was having trouble finding a job in my field. I didn't want to relocate in order to find a job that would allow me to utilize my recently acquired degree, but I didn't want to take a job in my neighborhood that would pay a lot less than I was capable of earning. I responded to the vending business ad in the newspaper. I figured it was something I could invest in and do until I found something in my field of study. That was twenty years ago, and I'm still servicing my original vending route. I am making more money than I ever dreamed was possible.
