In my never-ending quest to kick my friends’ butts at our favorite games, I’ve been checking out
the World’s Best Gaming Motherboards.
I’ve been taking a particularly close look at the The corsair dominator XMS3. That is one serious piece of gaming hardware. It might be just the thing for my new setup.
I’m hoping to have the new rig ready in time for the next LAN party. I can’t wait to see my friends drool.
Until next time.

Increasing number of thefts and burglaries has led to major concern of security. To pep p the security measures, the concept of biometrics has been used in the security arena. But what exactly is biometric security? Biometrics refers to the study of uniquely identifying individuals on the basis of certain peculiar traits of an individual. These traits could be anything such eye retina, iris, facial structure, hand measurements and fingerprints. These security devices read these peculiar traits for access. So while other security locks permit access using PIN numbers, passwords or keys, biometric devices permit access on the basis of peculiar traits.

I’ve been curious lately about Corrosive Chemical Storage.
We’re building out our new lab, so it’s important to get it right.
.
My boss is obsessed with cost cutting, but I don’t want to sacrifice safety. I smell a fight brewing.
At least I know more now than I did.
Alright - that’s all for now.

The time difference between the receipts of signals of a pair of radio transmitters is the basic principle that formulates the working of the GPS Loran system. The given constant time difference between the signals from the two stations is represented using a hyperbolic line of position (LOP). Once the position of two synchronized stations is known, it would not be difficult to assess the position of the receiver. The position of the recover can then be marked somewhere on the hyperbolic curve, provided the time difference between the signal remains constant.

The two universities in Uppsala are having a survey on web on STD. These colleges have a student population of 27,000, 55% to 60% of whom are women. About 20% are 1st-year students. Fifty percent are below the age of 24 years, 24% are aged 25 to 29 years, and 26% are 30 or olden Linkoping, a university town more than 125 miles southwest of Uppsala, has 14,000 students and a similar student profile. The Linkoping students were the control group.During a 3-month period, the university students in Uppsala were the target for an STD-prevention program that included a mass media campaign by means of visitor statistics directed at all university students and a peer education program directed at 1st-year university students. Because of the delicacy of questioning people about sexual practices, they made every effort to ensure respondents' anonymity. All participation was voluntary, and individual identification of the questionnaires was impossible. The Research Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine at Uppsala University approved the study.A project group of experts in behavioral psychology, communication, and medicine planned the intervention with 5 students (3 women and 2 men studying marketing in the Department of Business Studies). They considered it important that the campaign have a non-moralizing approach- and preserve positive attitudes toward sexuality. The campaign consisted of visual information–text and pictures, such as posters, a brochure, STD-clinic cards, cartoon advertisements, and articles in student papers. The number and kinds of information channels were planned to ensure that a majority of the students would be exposed to the prevention messages. They placed 1,000 posters in six different designs on information boards in various university departments, at the student sports center, and inside of the toilet doors of student libraries and student clubs. In designing the posters, our intention was to provide students with role models and ideas about how to initiate dialogues promoting safer sex. The posters showed models dealing with arguments in situations similar to those that students in the target groups were likely to confront. Focus groups of university students scrutinized all material produced at all stages of the planning process. They reviewed and revised the visual messages until they were received in the intended way, arousing positive attitudes and correct behavioral intentions. They used a quantitative questionnaire with semantic differentials to test the texts and pictures and to learn how the messages were understood and accepted. The main messages were (a) be careful with your fertility, (b) recognize that women often suffer more from a sexually transmitted infection than men do, (c) use condoms unless you have a steady relationship, and (d) test for STDs.Fifteen thousand copies of the 10-page brochure were placed in student libraries and the student sports center and given to students living on the two Uppsala campuses. The brochure contained information about STDs and contraceptives and told where to get STD tests. In addition, they placed baskets filled with condoms, candies, cards, and a map showing the location of the outpatient STD clinic in student libraries and at the sport center. They also set up a direct telephone line (hot line) to deal with queries and anxieties.

The white boards performs the dual task of when you are working in any presentation, it make the functioning of task very fast. One fantastic aspect of this system is its low maintenance costs and the huge savings of time. I have been successfully using this system for the past four years in my New York office. I have also been creating awareness among my friends and acquaintances about the user friendly nature of this amazing system. I am sure virtual whiteboard is going to be the future of all the presentation works.

One of the pioneers in technology for protecting source code is Zelix Klassmaster. They first released their Java source code generator in 1997 and have since continued to develop this technology. The function of the java code obfuscator is to change the Java byte code to make source code that is created through reverse engineering much more difficult for hackers and others with nefarious intention to penetrate. Zelix Klassmaster not only produces a first generation obfuscator, but has developed a second later of protection through its unique flow obfuscation and string encryption.

Cara Duckworth, a professional recording studio spokeswoman, said that the "problem of piracy is disproportionately acute on college campuses" and that the threats of litigation "is a step that is necessary to take. Too many of these students take advantage of these networks."
The professional recording studio hasn't kept all UF students out of trouble, however. Four of them received the same threats of litigation sent to the 124 USF students. The stakes could become more costly for the schools as well as students. The U.S. House recently proposed penalizing colleges and universities a portion of the federal financial aid their students receive unless the schools do more to rein in piracy committed through their computer networks.

With all the interest in achieving a microsoft certificate these days I have often wondered about the requirements that Microsoft has for its various testing centers. As of September of 2007 Thomson Prometric is in charge of the certificate testing. So in a nutshell any company that would like to be a Microsoft Cetrificate testing center first has to enter into a agreement with Thomson Prometric and abide by what they consider to be the proper enviroment for its testing centers.

Problem diagnosis is more democratic in configuration management training than assessing a software organization against a maturity model. Based on problem diagnosis the suggested areas for improvement have a fair chance of actually being improved.Change is not going to happen by itself. There are all kinds of resistance to change, including legitimate resistance.

One of the main reasons I’m majoring in Chemistry is the opportunity to get into
Electron Microscopy Science. The ability to look so deep into the fundamental building blocks of the universe is just extraordinary.
I’ve been researching how electron microscopes work on the Internet, and my fascination just keeps growing. I can’t even begin to fathom what it took to make the first one of these actually work.
I suspect I’m going to be spending a lot of time in the lab this year. Suits me.
