Cats Living With Dogs And The Affect It Has On Cat Health Care.

The biggest problem with cats living with dogs is obviously the age old myth that dogs hate cats and want to eat them. This of course would affect the cat health care but if they are living in the same household, this is probably not an issue. The main issue is the health care of the dog because of the cat litter box. Cat feces is like a gourmet treat for dogs. There is something in there that dogs just love and this treat may cause them diarrhea but the main problem is the cat litter because this can get a dog very sick and may even become life-threatening.

What to Do About Cat Fleas

As soon as you begin to see fleas appearing on your cat, it is as good time to start taking action. Fleas can quickly infest your home, taking control of furniture, carpets and even jumping their way onto you. A good idea is to begin spraying down your furniture and carpets with a mild, but effective insect spray to stop any future growth of flea eggs. Another good idea is to wash down the area where your cat tends to sleep, as cat fleas tend to be very evasive and sometimes tricky to get rid of. It should go without saying that during this cleaning process you should also wash your cat. They may not like it, but it’s the only way.
