The Number of Vacancies For Mental Health Nurses is on the Rise

November 24th, 2007

It takes a certain type of personality to succeed in the mental health world. Since patients with mental health disorders frequently exhibit odd behavior, a mental health nurse must have finely tuned intuition. Sometimes forgetful (and frequently reluctant) about about taking their medication, mental health patients must be closely monitored. The nurse must be vigilant and play close attention to detail. All these things can lead to high levels of stress for the nursing staff and they must be able to cope. Given all of these reasons, it comes to no surprise that the number of vacancies for mental health nurses is on the rise.
