Are you shopping around for a mortgage? Maybe you have already talked to a number of mortgage brokers, maybe you just went through your local bank. Either way is fine as long as you're getting the mortgage you want. No matter where you get your mortgage, chances are you may have talked to a mortgage banker. mortgage bankers differ from a mortgage broker in that the banker actually has the money you will be borrowing, whereas the broker simply sets you up with a lender. Either way, keep a good relationship with your mortgage banker, as they can be a great help in your dealings with your mortgage.
