More and more senior citizens are investing in deferred annuities nowadays. In the US, there are close to a billion dollars invested just in deferred annuities. So, why are deferred annuities so popular? The answer is that their payouts are the highest. In deferred annuities, benefits are calculated over three things. You get benefits over the principal amount you have invested, over the taxes that you will have collected and even an interest on the interest that your annuity earns.
